Our first newlywed Friday

It may have only been a three-day work week for us, but as our first weekend back in Charleston as newlyweds, we felt the need to celebrate. Of course, our celebration is just our style:

Champagne and palmetto cheese, plus a splurge on St. Germaine: some of our favorite life necessities.

Have a wonderful Friday night!

New Post!

Ok, we haven’t been posting much this week.

Mostly because we’ve both been extremely busy with work and have had events in the evenings and blah, blah, blah.

But since Claire doesn’t like the toilet picture from my Harry Potter post, I’ve decided to add something different. It should be annoying enough for Claire to write a post.

Happy 30th, Jamey!

Happy 30th birthday to my man and dreamboat. I hope you have a wonderful, relaxing day and can’t wait to celebrate with you tonight!

Even Harry wished Jamey a happy birthday!

Now you go eat some leftover chicken and lasagna, sit back, read, and enjoy your day off from work.

Love you!

In case you were wondering…

James: where’s our Sous Vide video?

Claire: you want me to email them to you and you write the post?

James: nope

Claire: ha, ok

James: I want you to have it finished and I read it

Jamey and I sous vided some pork chops last night. In case you were on pins and needles all day today waiting for the videos, they will be posted soon. This post is basically just to showcase Jamey’s commitment to our blog and how I deal with him on a day-to-day basis.

I hope you all had a glorious weekend. We did, and I will write about that soon too.

A Musical Segment by Ross

This doesn’t really tie into the “Jamey and Claire” theme of this blog so much, but then I realized, of course it does!

My younger brother Ross will be performing during a segment of our wedding, so it makes sense to share with you some of his music. This is his music video he created for the Folgers jingle contest. Music, lyrics and performance are all by him:

I’m very proud. I don’t know of a voting process to help him win, but if there is you can bet I will be sharing it with you!

Our Wedding Blog

After much debate, pain, and general dithering, we’ve decided on a simple name for our blog.

This will be a record of decisions, inspirations, and plans of our wedding process.

Please join us in bringing this whole thing together.
